As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we declare Yarca’s commitment to develop its activities while reducing the impact they may have on the environment and its stakeholders. CSR allows us to identify, measure and evaluate the impact of our operation on the environment, society, and the economy, and therefore act more efficiently.
Environmental and energy impact: We promote recycling in our operations and in our strategic partners, we apply a responsible purchasing policy, we establish procedures for the evaluation of our own carbon footprint, and we invite our customers to contribute to reducing their carbon footprint. We contribute to the Mar a Mar Association with the education and conservation of native bees, while we have a center for the rescue and conservation of native bees.
Social Impact: We promote improving the well-being of our employees, diversity in the work team, local employment, and alliances with our tourism service providers, while respecting human rights.
Economic Impact: We apply ethical business practices, maintain business in the medium and long term, maintain a healthy and balanced relationship between our customers and service providers.
Yarca is a proprietary inbound Tour Operator that operates as an integrated business unit of the legally registered company Weinmannia Meadery SRL.
Luis Mauricio Pineda founded the company Weinmannia S.A. in 1993 as a national forestry consulting company, later expanding its business internationally. As the years went by, a new venture arose in the mead (honey wine) production industry and with this, the tourism operation venture was also born, founding in 2023 the company Weinmannia Meadery SRL, which also undertook the production of handmade leather notebooks. Yarca is a proprietary inbound Tour Operator that operates as an integrated business unit of the legally registered company Weinmannia Meadery SRL. Now Weinmannia Meadery SRL is a conglomerate of professional services in the area of environmental sustainability, tour operations for the high-end market and production of beverages and handmade leather journal books.
